Old updates: 2005

10 Dec 2005 - I have updated the "Drawing Board" section with a new idea called "Crossworld" (note the lack of a plural), that would be an online world type of game that will probably never get made. I have also removed a few ideas from the drawing board that I may end up using at some stage in a new, top secret project that I am toying with.

4 Dec 2005 - Damn, another slow update. Anyway, the new newsletter is available. As for an update on game work, I have been developing PAC toward the new RPG style game that it has become. The project is large, but coming along well.

2 Nov 2005 - Whoops, I missed the update yesterday. I have the new edition of Inside Erin listed in the "Other Stuff" section now. I noticed something a bit screwy about the way I had the links for the newsletters set up, so I've fixed that now.

19 Oct 2005 - It's been a while, but the site is back up! I had computer issues that have prevented me from updating until now, and the AIFCommunity server crashed thus bringing this site down. Still, it's back up now, and I've updated the site with links to the newsletters that have been made since the last update. There's also some new info in the "Drawing Board" section, and a couple of articles in the "Other Stuff" section. Finally, I have updated a number of out-of-date links across the site.

30 Jul 2005 - The new edition of the newsletter, now renamed Inside Erin, is available in the "Other Stuff" section.

6 Jul 2005 - I'm back. There's another newsletter in the "Other Stuff" section.

26 Jun 2005 - I'll be out of touch until around the 2nd of July, and will not be able to respond to my emails until then.

21 Jun 2005 - I have updated the links section with a link to the new AIF Community Portal, which you should definitely check out.

12 Jun 2005 - Despite a hectic period for me and Mike, we've done a little bit more work on PAC, and I think it's coming along quite well.

2 Jun 2005 - The May edition of the newsletter is now available, and there is a link to it in the "Other Stuff" section. If you want to see what one of the characters in PAC will look like, there is a picture in the "Drawing Board" section.

21 May 2005 - Just to keep you up to date, Mike Phillips (my co-writer for Pervert Action Crisis) and I have made some progress on PAC. Stuff is happening, even if it is a little slow and scattered across several of my projects. I've been busy lately, so hopefully I can get some serious work done when my schedule clears up a bit around late June.

3 May 2005 - I have updated the "Drawing Board" section with more up to date info on Pervert Action Crisis.

30 Apr 2005 - I've done a bit more work on PAC, thanks to more feedback. The April edition of the newsletter is now available in the "Other Stuff" section.

21 Apr 2005 - Pervert Action Crisis may be more likely to get made than I originally thought, thanks to some development assistance I have had over email and on AGX. Also, I have updated my links page with a link to rav_p89's Multipage, which archives my games (among others). Check out my "Drawing Board" section for a new teaser picture.

5 Apr 2005 - I have updated the free ideas section of my "drawing board" with some new ideas. I have also added a link to the 2004 Erins Special Edition of the newsletter.

1 Apr 2005 - The big news is I've won the "Best Female NPC" Erin for Debbie from the Crossworlds series! The March newsletter is now available in the "Other Stuff" section of this site, and has the full details on the awards. As my Erin was not awarded to a specific game, I have arbitrarily chosen to treat it as an award for Crossworlds Part 2 - The Flower Opens.

16 Mar 2005 - I have added a new game idea to the "Drawing Board" section called Pervert Action Crisis.

12 Mar 2005 - I've done a bit of work on CW4. The project is chugging along but I'm still not sure when it might get finished - it's my biggest game so far. We still need more votes for the Erins, so if you haven't voted do it now. I'm talking to you! Just take a look at the last news post below. Voting will only take a minute and it will make a difference to the result. I have also updated the "Drawing Board" section of this site, to have a sort of FAQ going for my unreleased games.

1 Mar 2005 - The February issue of the newsletter is now available, and there is a direct link to it in the "other stuff" section of this site. Also, the Erin nominees have been announced and voting has begun. Here is a direct link to the ballot if you want to vote; just send it to the2004erins@yahoo.com once completed. All the games I released in that period have been nominated for one award or another, so get in there and vote for me (if you think I deserve it)!

25 Feb 2005 - Added a walkthrough to CW3, written by Faraday. It is available in the games section.

22 Feb 2005 - The gold edition of Crossworlds Part 1 - Normville is now available and can be found here. This is still the same game, I toyed with the idea of adding substantial new content but I found it too hard to write. The game has undergone a fairly significant technical overhaul however, and should feel more consistent with the other Crossworlds games now. I intend to do something similar eventually with CW2. In other news I have added another sex scene to the plan for CW4 which will improve the game, but will make it take longer to write as well.

15 Feb 2005 - I made a few more changes to the site design today. As for an update on game progress, I have made a good start to Crossworlds Part 4 - Scream For Me, but the project is still a while from completion.

14 Feb 2005 -  I have updated CW3 to contain this new address and put some banners in the links section. I also did the little Crossworlds graphic above, and now I don't know what to do with it.

13 Feb 2005 - Matrix Mole's site address is now aifcommunity.org and this site is consequently at bbben.aifcommunity.org - this is a great new URL. The Erin Awards site is now being hosted on aifcommunity.org also, at erins.aifcommunity.org. The "links" section has been updated accordingly.

9 Feb 2005 - Added some new ideas in the drawing board section by other people.

8 Feb 2005 - A gold edition of CW1 will be available soon (play it again before part 4!). In other news, there is a new newsletter for AIF which you can find in the "other stuff" section. The newsletter has also revived the Erins, and there is a new link in my links section to the Erins website. The nominees will hopefully be available at the end of the month in the next issue of the newsletter, and then you can vote.

26 Jan 2005 - I have updated Crossworlds Part 3 to version 1.2 which corrects a few oversights. I have also corrected the site design a little and alphabetised the links section.

22 Jan 2005 - I have updated the drawing board section.

20 Jan 2005 - I have added an article on story in AIF in the "other stuff" section.

19 Jan 2005 - Noveau Riche has undergone a heavy design restructuring and as a consequence the project has been set back a little way. Never mind, it will be much better for the new design and in any case the next game I plan to release is Crossworlds Part 4 - Scream For Me. I have updated the links section with better information, and changed the AIF Forum link as the forum has been revived again. Let's try to keep it alive this time. Also, the new AIF newsletter, Sextra Curricular Activities is now in development and needs contributors, particularly capable artists. Go to the AIF Archive and read up for more info.

13 Jan 2005 - I have introduced a classification system so you can see what sexual content is contained in each of my games, much like is usually done with erotic story archives. I have also added direct links to the Adrift 3.9 runner on my page.

11 Jan 2005 - Added an article I have written about the "talk to x" and "ask x about y" conversation systems used in AIF. It can be found in the "Other Stuff" section. I also changed the link to AGX.

09 Jan 2005 - Added a link to Sir Gareth's site.

06 Jan 2005 - Added a list of science-fiction references in CW3. It can be found in the "other stuff" section.

05 Jan 2005 - I have added a page in my "other stuff" section, which tells you a little about my own thoughts on my games and how successful I think they were in what they attempted. If you have any ideas for games or sex scenes, send them to me and I'll post them in my "drawing board" section. I managed to find a few typos and other small omissions in CW3, so I've updated it to v1.1. I have also updated my older game CW2 to version 1.1 and added a walkthrough for it.

04 Jan 2005 - Surprise! Crossworlds Part 3 - The Final Far Far Away Frontier is available ahead of the planned January 7 release date. You can get it from my games section, or here.

01 Jan 2005 - Happy new year! The beta testing of CW3 is on track and it should be ready for the January 7 release date. I have also added a link to A. Ninny's new AIF masterlist, which lists all AIF games and where to get them.
