Old updates: 2009 |
|
22nd November 2009 - Well, I've had a hell of a busy year. That, combined with the oppressive weight of having to polish off the last bits of Pervert Action: Crisis has made this an unproductive year for me in terms of AIF. No matter, however, as I can happily report that I've made a bit more progress on PAC, and now 5/6 sex scenes are done. By the way, these sex scenes are far more complex and detailed than I normally have put into my games, which is why they are so much work. The last one might be a bit difficult to get finished, but I'm hoping it won't take too long. You guys all understand, though, don't you? Right? Guys...? 31st March 2009 - You might recall that the last progress report I gave on Pervert Action: Crisis had none of the sex scenes finished and a couple of them barely started. I can now, happily, report that four of the six sex scenes are complete, and the other two are comfortably under way. I'm not certain what this will mean in terms of a release date - I have a busy schedule ahead of me for a while, but I do feel like I'm back in the saddle as far as writing the game goes, and there's already been a lot of work done on it. I think that while the project has been through development hell, there is now a light at the end of the tunnel. As I've mentioned before, I've transferred the game to ADRIFT 4.0 to solve some problems 3.9 was having in running the game, and the transfer has worked out well, with the game being much more playable now. Incidentally, the new 4.0 file size is 251 kb at last check (without multimedia in the game file). 10th March 2009 - Well, as you may or may not know, the threesome comp got only one entry (no big surprise) so it was a flop, but the game by Rip_CPU, A Night with Dani and Liz was good, so it's not a total loss. Some good news is that I've made yet more progress on Pervert Action: Crisis. Now, you may be thinking that this is getting a bit ridiculous - I've been bleating about this game for so long and it's still not out yet. I agree with you, but with a caveat - I have recently discovered that the game is now so large that by any real yardstick I can find it is now larger and more complex than any ADRIFT AIF game ever released (outdoing the soon-to-be-previous title holder British Fox and the Celebrity Abductions), and once I have released it (note my confidence) it will be one of the largest and most complex ADRIFT games full stop. 15th January 2009 - Well, it's been forever and a day, hasn't it? And another year gets added to the "old updates" list down the bottom of this page. If you keep up with the AIF Archive forum and the AIFGames.com forums then you'll know that I'm hosting an AIF comp right now, however, and the deadline is the end of this month! Not much more than two weeks left in it! I suppose I'll be hosting it here, so look out for that if you're not into the whole forums thing. Another couple of things worthy of note: I've updated the games section with links to the walkthrough for CW4 and the score list for CW0, both put together by cricharddavies (many thanks). And finally, I've updated the drawing board page with some new information about Pervert Action: Crisis. That's right, I've decided to tease you the way mainstream game developers do by giving out a few little hints about what's going to be in the game... |
